Job summary

Kent Worldwide is seeking a permanent forklift operator with a valid license and FMCG experience to support loading and unloading, stock preparation, and warehousing tasks. The role emphasises safety, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

40-hour week with 38 paid hours, potential overtime, and a strong team culture. Applicants should be able to work across early morning hours and maintain high safety standards in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience in FMCG environment preferred.
• RF scanning and warehouse handling experience.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift for loading and unloading of goods.
• Prepare stock for warehousing and warehouse stock management.
• Maintain site housekeeping and safety practices to reduce hazards.
• Perform manual handling as required and assist with packing/rework.
• Work across 4am–6pm shifts with potential overtime.
• Collaborate effectively as a team or independently.

About the role

Looking for a permanent skilled Forklift operator (license essential) with experience in loading and unloading of goods.

Aspects of the role include

• Forklift operation including moving palletised stock, loading and unloading of trucks
• Preparing stock for warehousing
• Warehousing stock
• Site cleaning and general housekeeping duties to reduce waste and potential safety hazards
• Manual handling as required
• RF Scanning
• Some packing and rework of goods
• Flexibility to work across 4am - 6pm hours operation (plus optional overtime available when available)
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team

Skills and experience

Ideally, you should have experience working in a factory, and operating a forklift within an FMCG environment.
