Value Added Personnel Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator/Stock Picker to maintain seamless materials flow in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will operate double reach and counterbalance forklifts, ensuring inventory accuracy and safety in both ambient and chilled spaces. The role requires 2–3 years of forklift experience, a valid Victorian licence with High Risk Work LF status, and availability for weekday shifts in a refrigerated setting.

Job Description

Our client seeks an experienced Forklift Operator/Stock Picker who will play a critical operational role in maintaining seamless materials flow across their logistics, raw ingredient staging, and outbound dispatch. Operating modern double reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts within their high-density storage facility, the successful candidate will ensure total inventory precision, high safety standards, and operational efficiency.

• maintain clean as-you-go standards across both ambient and chilled spaces.

Required Skills & Experience

• Forklift Experience: Minimum 2–3 years’ operating double reach trucks (high-reach) in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• FMCG / Food & Beverage: Background in temperature-controlled, cold-chain, or FMCG food and beverage logistics.
• Container Packing: Practical experience in 20’ & 40’ reefer container packing, axle-weight balancing, and transport load restraint.
• Quality & Accuracy: Exceptional accuracy in stock counts, batch verification, and safe handling of fragile glass-bottled inventory.

Qualifications, Licences & Environment

• Licences: Valid Victorian

High Risk Work Licence (LF) mandatory.

• Food Safety: Basic Food Safety & Hygiene certification (e.g., HACCP / Food Safety Handler) preferred.
• Environment & Availability: Comfortable occasionally working in refrigerated areas (4°C) and available for weekday shifts.
• Work Rights: Full Australian working rights required.
