Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in automotive, retail, luxury goods, technology sales, or real estate.
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs.
• Professional presentation and strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced dealership environment.
• Willingness to learn EV products and CRM systems.

Responsabilités

BYD Frankston is part of our growing BYD dealership network, offering customers a complete BYD experience including new vehicle sales, servicing, maintenance, and parts support. As the BYD brand continues to grow across Victoria, we are expanding our team and looking for high-performing, customer-focused Sales Consultants to join our Frankston dealership.

Backed by Harmony Auto, one of Australia’s largest importers of premium and luxury electric vehicles, we continue to expand rapidly and redefine the EV customer journey.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Sales Consultant at BYD Frankston, you will welcome customers into our showroom, showcase BYD’s latest electric vehicles, and guide them through a seamless purchase process.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers in the BYD showroom
• Present BYD vehicles, explain EV technology, and provide in-person demonstrations
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable models and configurations
• Maintain customer relationships through timely follow-up and excellent customer care
• Guide customers through the complete EV buying journey: enquiries, test drives, quotations, CRM updates, and contract signing
• Work closely with the Service & Workshop teams to ensure a smooth delivery and aftersales experience
• Support dealership events, test drive days, and promotional activities
• Achieve individual and dealership sales KPIs
• Stay up to date on vehicle arrivals, product updates, and EV trends

What We're Looking For

Required

• 1-2+ years of experience in automotive, retail, luxury goods, technology sales, or real estate
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs

Highly Regarded

• Automotive dealership experience
• Experience in full-service or high-volume retail dealerships

What We Offer

• $60,000 base salary + superannuation
• Uncapped commissions - realistic OTE $80,000-$110,000+
