Carma Limited is seeking a Head of Buying Operations to lead our Buying Operations teams—Customer Buying, BCX and Inspections—and to drive a high-performing, customer-first culture. This role is based at Carma HQ in Australia with regular travel to Sydney inspection sites.

You will translate ambitious targets into achievable goals, optimise the end-to-end Sell to Carma journey, and partner with People and Strategy to scale as Carma grows. A driver’s license is essential.

Formación

• Significant experience leading large customer-facing operations in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Experience building and scaling operational teams across multi-site businesses.
• Proven people leadership: develop leaders, build cultures, manage performance.
• Strong strategic plus hands-on execution, detail-oriented.
• Highly commercial with ambitious targets.
• Data-driven with ability to use insights to decide and improve.
• Confident with CRM, reporting tools and systems.
• Growth mindset; thrive amid ambiguity and scale.
• Valid driver’s license essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop Buying Operations teams across Customer Buying, BCX and Inspections.
• Coach Team Leads and Managers through performance conversations and planning.
• Translate ambitious buying targets into achievable team goals across the buying funnel.
• Monitor daily/weekly operational performance; identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Own and optimise the Sell to Carma end-to-end journey; improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Dive deep into frontline processes to simplify, automate and scale.
• Partner with People on workforce planning, hiring and organisational design.
• Support the launch of new Sell to Carma sites through capacity planning.
• Build strong relationships across Buying, Strategy & Business Operations, Compliance, Valuations and Onboarding.
• Stay connected to frontline operations by inspections and site visits.
• Use data and reporting to identify trends and inform decisions.
