Southern Cross Organic Butchery in Highland Park, QLD, is hiring a Full-Time Qualified Butcher. You will focus on retail butchery, window presentation, and serving customers, with guaranteed hours and competitive pay.

About the Role

• Roster: Tuesday - Friday 6am - 4pm Saturday 6am-3pm


• RDOs: Sunday & Monday


• Pay: $37/hour + penalties & overtime (in line with Level 7, Meat Industry Award)


• Hours: 38 hours + OT


• Flexibility: Occasional full weekend cover required when team members are on leave

• A fully qualified butcher


• Confident with retail butchering, window presentation, and serving customers


• Must be able to work with urgency – we need someone who can keep the window full, complete tasks efficiently, and stay on top of daily jobs without needing reminders


• A strong communicator with great customer service skills
