Axial Training is seeking a passionate Business Trainer & Assessor to deliver the Diploma of Business to senior secondary students across Queensland. The role offers full-time, part-time or sessional opportunities, with a focus on practical business skills and confidence-building in students.

You don’t need to be a career teacher; we’re looking for someone who knows business and enjoys helping others learn. A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is preferred, with support to obtain if needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Business Trainer & Assessor, you’ll work with senior school students completing their Diploma of Business, bringing real-world business experience into the classroom.

• Deliver engaging, practical and interactive business training
• Share your real-world knowledge and experiences
• Mentor and motivate students to achieve their goals
• Help students develop confidence and professional skills
• Build positive relationships with students and partner schools
• Support assessment and student progression
• Contribute to engaging learning activities and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can connect with young people and make business come alive.

You’ll ideally have:

• A relevant Business qualification and/or strong industry experience
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122/TAE40116) or a willingness to obtain
• Experience in business, management, marketing, entrepreneurship or a related field
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• A positive, engaging and professional approach
• A genuine passion for mentoring and developing young people
• A Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one
