Job summary

Private Advertiser in Marrickville is seeking a Business Services Accountant with 3+ years of experience to manage client accounting tasks, data entry, receivables, payables, payroll, BAS/IAS, reconciliations and journals.

You will prepare management accounts, month-end and EOFY work papers, and tax returns for diverse entities while liaising with the ATO and banks. Flexible hours and remote options discussed with the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Business Services Accountant.
• Experience preparing returns and activity statements for various legal entities.
• Experience preparing accounts to trial balance.
• Preparation of Financial Statements.
• Experience working with Xero.
• Mature enough to handle yourself in a standalone role and flexible enough to work with the rest of the team when needed.
• Have excellent communications skills and be confident dealing with people from all walks of life.
• Able to prioritise effectively and manage your own time.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and have outstanding administration skills.
