Job summary

Ageis is seeking a Business Services Accountant to join our busy Sydney office. You will prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs, while assisting with client business advisory on GST, FBT, Div 7A and CGT matters.

Proficiency in Xero/MYOB/Class Super or BGL and strong client relationship skills are essential. Ideal candidates hold CA/CPA qualification or are progressing through the CA/CPA program, with at least two years in a business services

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification or currently enrolled in CA/CPA program
• At least two years of experience within a business services environment
• Accuracy and high level of attention to detail
• Ability to juggle numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
• Ability to work autonomously as a committed member of the professional services team
• Excellent presentation and organisational skills and a professional attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Xero, MYOB and Class Super or BGL

• Assist with client business advisory including GST, FBT, Div 7A and CGT matters
• Preparation and maintenance of client's financial records using Xero / MYOB or QuickBooks
• Preparation of various IAS, BAS and FBT returns

What you will need

• Ideally CA or CPA qualified or has commenced your CA or CPA program
• At least two years of experience within a business services environment
• Accuracy and high level of attention to detail
• The ability to juggle numerous tasks with ease whilst working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
