Department of Customer Service in NSW is seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to support the branch with administrative and operational services in a hybrid Parramatta/Sydney/Gosford/Orange setting. Government Shared Services (GSS) is a new division in DCS that is leading the way in streamlining processes and transactional shared services to allow our people to better focus on their customers and delivering their services.
We are developing and delivering a roadmap to leverage technology, streamline processes, replace legacy systems and deliver a consistent experience to more than 100+ agencies across 8 NSW Government Departments.
As the Business Operations Coordinator, you will coordinate high-quality business, administrative and operational support services that help the branch run efficiently and deliver to agreed standards. You will work across teams to manage priorities, improve processes, support reporting and documentation and provide practical advice on systems, procedures and service delivery.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and confident working in a busy business support environment. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, coordinating information from different sources and using sound judgement to resolve issues or elevate matters when needed.
You will have strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to build effective relationships across teams. You will also be confident using business systems and technology to improve processes, support reporting and maintain accurate records.
