Moir Group is seeking an experienced Business Operations & AI Enablement Project Manager in Melbourne. You will lead a practical operational transformation, leveraging advanced AI capabilities to design smarter workflows and automation across the organisation.
You will review systems and processes, implement AI agents, automate admin tasks, and integrate Dynamics 365 with existing tools. The role involves training teams and delivering measurable efficiency gains in a fast-moving family-office
The Company
Our client is a high-profile, purpose-driven family office supporting significant philanthropic investments and the development of large-scale social enterprises.
Operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment, the organisation is in the early stages of establishing its systems, processes and operational infrastructure. An opportunity has arisen for highly capable, hands-on professional to optimise business operations, implement AI-enabled solutions and establish efficient systems and processes to support organisational growth.
The Role
Working closely with the Chief of Staff, you will lead a practical operational transformation project, leveraging your advanced AI capabilities to design and implement smarter, more efficient ways of working.
You will review existing systems, processes and workflows, identifying opportunities to introduce AI agents, automation and technology-enabled solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and mapping operational processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation
Designing, building and implementing AI agents and automated workflows to streamline day-to-day activities
Applying AI to improve administrative processes, including meeting preparation, minutes, action tracking and recurring governance activities
Establishing efficient systems for managing information, coordinating projects and tracking priorities
Supporting the effective integration and use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM alongside existing business systems
Identifying opportunities to improve workflows across investment, advisory and strategic project activities
Developing practical, scalable solutions that enable the office to operate more independently
Training and supporting the team in adopting AI tools and new ways of working
Your Profile
You will be an experienced Project Manager, Operational Transformation Consultant or Business Improvement Specialist with advanced, hands-on expertise in AI and automation. You will be a highly proficient AI practitioner, with demonstrated experience designing and implementing AI agents, automated workflows and practical solutions that deliver measurable improvements in business efficiency.
An early adopter with a genuine passion for emerging technology, you will be confident exploring new AI capabilities and translating them into effective business applications. Importantly, you will understand how to align technology with operational needs rather than introducing complexity for its own sake.
Intellectually agile, resourceful and solutions-focused, you will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve quickly and processes are still being established.
You will be equally comfortable identifying opportunities and rolling up your sleeves to implement them, with the judgement to keep solutions simple, practical and fit for purpose.
Experience in a start-up, family office, consulting or similarly fast-moving environment would be highly regarded.
The Benefits
This is an opportunity to work closely with senior decision-makers in a high-profile, purpose-driven organisation supporting initiatives with significant social impact.
You will have the autonomy to shape and implement practical improvements, introducing AI-enabled ways of working that make a tangible difference to how the office operates.
