Job summary

The Coles Group is seeking a transport and supply chain professional in Melbourne to grow a portfolio of Coles Collect customers. You will create innovative transport solutions from data, modelling and analysis while travelling monthly to supplier sites across the state and interstate.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong commercial acumen in FMCG/retail, and a proven ability to develop customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a transport or supply chain related field within FMCG is desired.
• Strong commercial acumen, specifically in an FMCG or retail environment
• Proven track record of developing customer solutions ranging in size and volume
• Excellent communication skills with experience of building effective and fruitful relationships internally & externally
• Ability to work autonomously and to make quick effective decisions
• Ability to identify and communicate commercial opportunities in a passionate and engaging way

About the role

You will be responsible for growing a portfolio of Coles Collect customers, by thoroughly understanding the suppliers business, key drivers and metrics. Create innovative ways to develop new business and deliver consistent growth. Please note that this role requires monthly travel to supplier sites within the state and interstate.

You will also:
