Job summary
Peninsula is expanding its NSW sales team in Maitland, seeking a high‑performing Business Development Manager for new business hunting. No account management, no inherited clients; success comes from creating opportunities, building pipeline and winning new business.
You’ll meet business owners, manage opportunities via Salesforce, and aim to exceed activity, revenue and conversion targets. This role offers uncapped earnings with up to $150K base and OTE over $220K, plus a car or car allowance
Qualifications
- Proven new business development or field sales experience.
- Able to exceed targets and close deals.
- Confident engaging with business owners and decision makers.
Responsibilities
- Meet with business owners to understand their challenges and present Peninsula’s solutions.
- Manage your pipeline and opportunities through Salesforce.
- Consistently aim to meet activity, revenue and conversion targets.
- Build long-term relationships across the Australian SME market.
- Build your own pipeline through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting and business development activity.
