• Hold a current driver’s license; signage or construction experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new commercial clients via phone, email and site visits.
• Walk sites, measure up jobs, and bring opportunities back for quoting.
• Maintain and update the sales pipeline in the CRM.
• Collaborate with crews to ensure what is sold is delivered.
• Report progress to the Operations Manager.

Job description

Illawarra Signs & Line Marking is a local business, trading since 1996. We do the signs and the line marking, so one crew can look after both in the one visit. We work on car parks, warehouse floors, factory yards, and business and commercial sites, for the builders and facility managers who look after them.

What we do: line marking for traffic and pedestrian areas, safety and traffic signs, wheel stops, bollards, tactile indicators, line removal, and commercial and vehicle signage. Nights, weekends and shutdown work. $20 million public liability, fully insured, CM3 certified.

Home is the Illawarra: Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama, the Shoalhaven and the Southern Highlands. We cover all of Sydney, and we travel for the right job.

The role

We need someone to go out and win more of it. You'll find new commercial clients, builders and facility managers across the Illawarra and Sydney, and look after the clients we already have. You'll walk their sites with them, measure up, and bring the work back to be quoted.

Day to day:

• Prospecting by phone, email and site visits
• Walking sites and measuring up jobs
• Keeping your pipeline up to date in our CRM
• Working with our crews so what you sell is what gets done
• Reporting to our Operations Manager

Pay

$70,000 to $80,000 base, plus super, plus commission. Full time, on site, based in Unanderra.
