Job summary

Westpac is hiring a Business Development Manager in Sydney to build partnerships with brokers, introducers and referral networks for SME customers. You will leverage lending knowledge and relationship skills to identify opportunities and connect clients with Westpac solutions that help their businesses grow.

This permanent, full-time role is based in Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country, and offers flexible work options and opportunities for development while supporting diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge across Business Banking and lending.
• Strong relationship building and networking skills.
• Confidence managing business partnerships and third-party channels.
• Ability to identify and create new business opportunities through external networks.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to guide conversations with a range of stakeholders.

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll build meaningful partnerships with third party introducers, brokers and referral networks to create new opportunities for our SME customers.

You’ll bring your lending expertise and relationship skills to connect with brokers, accountants and other key people across the business community. You’ll develop a strong pipeline of new SME customers, understand what matters to them and connect them with Westpac solutions that can help their businesses move forward.
