Job summary

Shred-X in Perth seeks a proactive Business Development & Branch Support specialist to grow new business and expand existing accounts through cross-selling, while delivering branch and admin support to ensure a top-tier customer experience.

You’ll manage outbound outreach, nurture relationships, coordinate onboarding with operations, and work within pricing guidelines to convert prospects into loyal customers in a fast-paced, office-based setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in outbound sales, telesales, business development, customer acquisition or a similar customer-facing role.
• Confidence initiating outbound phone conversations and developing new customer relationships.
• Experience working to activity, conversion, revenue and gross-margin targets.
• Strong ability to understand customer needs and clearly communicate service benefits.
• Excellent written, verbal and administrative skills.
• Strong organisation, time-management and follow-up discipline.
• Experience using CRM or customer-management systems.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research and engage prospective customers through proactive outbound sales activity.
• Manage a portfolio of small-to-medium existing customer accounts.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular calls, emails and follow-up.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and introduce customers to additional Shred-X services.
• Prepare, present and follow up quotations, proposals and service agreements.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through to quotation, acceptance, onboarding and handover.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including contacts, activities, opportunities, quotes and next actions.
• Coordinate new customer onboarding with operations, logistics, customer service, finance and other internal teams.
