Mitchell Shire Council is seeking a Business Development and Engagement Officer to connect with local businesses, deliver practical support and drive initiatives that strengthen the economy. This role sits within Council’s Economic Development team and works directly with local businesses to deliver practical support, events and initiatives that help strengthen the local economy.
A typical day could include responding to business enquiries, managing business communications and promotional channels, coordinating workshops and business events, working with business groups, and planning and delivering economic development initiatives across the municipality.
You will work closely with local businesses, business associations, Council teams and external stakeholders, with plenty of variety across the role. It is a practical, hands on position where you can see the impact of your work through stronger business engagement, well delivered initiatives and events, and better outcomes for local businesses and the broader economy.
This is a permanent full-timeopportunity with a Monthly ADO.
Remuneration begins at$94.1K to $102.3K (Band 6) plus superannuation.
