The primary purpose of the role is to drive successful delivery of the Care & Recovery Program - a significant Victorian workers' compensation reform. As Business Delivery Manager, you'll be the critical interface between Allianz (as a Delivery Partner/Agent) and the CRP, ensuring Allianz is connected, ready, and accountable across every phase of the transformation.
The role focuses on delivering business value, optimising process, and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve measurable outcomes.
About the Care & Recovery Program (CRP)
The Care & Recovery Program (CRP) is a Victoria-wide workers' compensation transformation program led by Return to Work (RTW) Victoria. The program spans a multi-year delivery timeline — from Discover & Validate through Design & Build, Deploy, and Go-Live — with full implementation running from 2026 through to 2029.
The CRP is designed to transform the way injured workers are supported: reducing harm, improving Return to Work (RTW) outcomes, and modernising the systems, processes, and data that underpin the Victorian workers' compensation scheme.
About the role
The Business Delivery Manager acts as the Program Manager for Allianz within the Care & Recovery Program (CRP). You will drive Allianz's end-to-end readiness and delivery across all five workstreams, managing the intersection of program delivery, organisational change, and stakeholder accountability.
1. Understanding the Business
Develop and maintain a deep, current understanding of Allianz's operating model, business challenges, and the impacts of the CRP transformation on our people, processes, systems, and data within the Victorian workers' compensation environment.
2. Connecting the Program to the Organisation
Serve as the two-way conduit between the Care & Recovery Program (CRP) and Allianz — ensuring program intelligence flows into the business, and business needs are represented at the program level.
3. Translating Strategy into Action
Convert CRP program outputs and strategic direction into concrete, time-bound organisational plans that drive delivery across all five workstreams.
4. Driving Readiness and Adoption
Lead Allianz's organisational readiness across people, process, technology, and data — ensuring the business is prepared to adopt CRP changes at every stage of deployment.
5. Delivering Organisational Accountability
Act as Allianz's single accountable owner for the CRP, coordinating delivery participation across teams, managing risks, dependencies, and governance obligations throughout the program lifecycle.
