Job summary

RGP in Canberra is seeking a Senior BCM consultant to lead current-state and maturity assessments of BCM and Enterprise Resilience. You will conduct interviews, workshops, and document reviews to develop practical recommendations for an organisation.

The role requires at least 5 years in BCM or related consulting, with strong knowledge of BIA, crisis management and ISO 22301, and involves presenting to senior stakeholders on an independent review and implementation roadmap.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in BCM, Enterprise Resilience or related consulting.
• Proven experience conducting maturity assessments and independent reviews.
• Strong knowledge of BIA, crisis management and incident response.
• Experience with ISO 22301 and risk governance desirable.
• Able to engage with senior stakeholders and work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BCM and Enterprise Resilience current-state and maturity assessments
• Conduct document reviews, stakeholder interviews and workshops
• Assess BCM frameworks, BIA methodologies, governance, crisis management and incident response
• Evaluate integration with Enterprise Risk Management
• Perform gap assessments against ISO 22301 and relevant Australian risk and security frameworks
• Develop BCM frameworks, resilience playbooks and supporting templates
• Create an implementation roadmap
• Prepare executive-level reports and present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders

About You

• At least 5 years experience in BCM, Enterprise Resilience or related consulting
• Proven experience conducting maturity assessments, independent reviews and gap analyses
• Strong knowledge of BIA, BCM frameworks, crisis management and incident response
• Experience with ISO 22301
• Understanding of risk management, governance and GRC
• Australian Government or highly regulated environment experience highly desirable
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, report writing and presentation skills
• Able to work independently and confidently engage with senior stakeholders
• Open to work on a 3-month contract duration
