Job summary

NAB in Australia is seeking a Business Banking Manager 3 to lead a Regional & Agribusiness team from our Bega-Banking Centre. Based in NSW, you will manage and grow a commercial client portfolio, delivering tailored banking solutions while maintaining rigorous risk controls.

You’ll partner with customers to understand their goals, educate them on financing options, and leverage local networks to identify opportunities and referrals. This is a permanent full-time on-site role.

In the role of Business Banking Manager 3, you will join the Regional & Agribusiness team, contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers.

• Leverage your networks and local market knowledge to identify new business opportunities and generate referrals.
• Prepare, structure and submit lending proposals to help customers achieve their ambitions.
• Maintain strong risk and compliance disciplines while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

You’ll bring to this role:

• Proven experience in business banking, commercial lending or relationship management.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify customer needs, risks and growth opportunities.
• Experience managing customer portfolios and building long‑term trusted relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse customer financials and structure appropriate lending solutions.
• A strong understanding of credit risk, lending policy and the end‑to‑end lending process.
• A proactive approach to business development and generating new customer opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A degree in Banking, Finance, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline.
