CMC Markets is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the ANZ Programme on an 18 Month Max Term Contract. You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and agile teams to scope requirements, document solutions and deliver impactful changes across product launches and process enhancements.

This hands-on role requires independence to identify opportunities, analyze operations and deliver insights while working within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst ideally within financial services.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• BA tools and techniques e.g. Jira, Confluence, process modelling, wireframing, data analysis, Visio/Miro.
• Technical knowledge e.g. API documentation, SQL, data management, web and mobile apps.
• Experience delivering operational efficiency projects for customer service functions.
• Experience implementing new Wealth Management product offerings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in financial services, banking, wealth management, payments, fintech or another regulated environment is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
• Conduct interviews, workflow and process analysis to elicit and document clear, concise business and functional requirements.
• Create and help manage a backlog of epics and user stories, including detailed acceptance criteria to guide development and testing.
• Produce mock-ups and partner with development teams to design effective, achievable solutions.
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing across all CMC offices.
• Maintain up to date documentation and communicate changes to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present demos and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the Product team and broader organisation.
• Lead and/or support all phases of the project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to delivery and post-implementation review.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst for an 18 Month Max Term Contract. As a Business Analyst, you'll support project and product delivery within the ANZ Programme working closely with stakeholders across the business, external vendors, and partners. You'll play a key role in scoping requirements, documenting solutions, and collaborating with agile development teams to deliver impactful changes.

This hands on role involves both technical and operational analysis across a range of initiatives, from launching new products to enhancing business processes to improve operational efficiency. You will be a motivated self starter capable of working independently to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver insights with minimal direction.

What you'll be working on?
