City of Gold Coast is seeking a Business Analysis Capability Lead on a fixed term full-time basis (12 months) to uplift organisational business analysis standards and capabilities. You will mentor staff, lead capability programs, and partner with leadership to ensure consistent practices across projects.
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, 5+ years as a Business Analyst, and experience leading teams, with a focus on governance, templates and enterprise frameworks.
The Business Analysis Capability Lead provides organisation‑wide business analysis consultancy, specialist advice and training. The role sets and maintains Business Analysis standards, drives capability uplift, and contributes to project delivery through a 50% allocation to Business Analyst duties.
This important role for our City improves team performance and promotes best‑practice methodologies. You will work closely with Business Analysis Leads, Specialist Analysts, delivery teams, PMOs and senior leaders to ensure consistent and aligned business analysis practices across the organisation.
This is a fixed term full-time contract for 12 months.
You are a strategic thinker and collaborative leader with strong business analysis expertise. You enjoy mentoring others, building capability and supporting consistent practice. You work well with direction while also showing initiative and confidence in leading people and improving standards.
