Outline of the Role
Join our reception team and gain hands on experience across all aspects of administration and customer service. Develop practical skills in front desk operations, answering enquiries, managing appointments, calendar bookings, data entry, filing, minute taking, office organisation, and event coordination. This role provides the opportunity to build confidence, professionalism, and essential workplace skills while supporting the smooth day to day operations of the busy office.
The position is full time, for 18 weeks, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
Main Requirements
Be reliable and punctual, committed to showing up and learning the role.
Carry out all administrative and reception duties under direction of your supervisor.
Be warm, friendly and customer focused. But we don't expect perfection!

Not currently enrolled in school
Have not participated in a Skilling Queenslanders for Work project before
Must be a QLD resident with full working rights in Australia
Understand that it is part of our responsibility to help you look for work and find a job upon completion of this traineeship
Remuneration
This role is a Certificate I Business Administration traineeship (Cert I in Workplace Skills). Traineeship wages apply. The hourly rate is dependent on your years out of school. Hourly rates are between $10.49 and $21.31 and are lower due to the fact that the funding covers the cost of your training and certificate as well.
