Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Business, Costing and Reporting Officer in Cairns to support streams within the AFBI Department and coordinate monthly statistical data submissions and routine reporting for the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

The role focuses on administration of access, training, and maintenance of reports and dashboards, ensuring outputs meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Compile Monthly Activity Collection (MAC) for manual submissions and other regular statistical submissions such as Health Round Table reporting.
• Support the administration of user access, training and maintenance of existing reports/ dashboards and security structures for end user reports and/or dashboards.
• Undertake all work deliverables to the highest standard and ensure all work outputs adhere to internal quality assurance models, frameworks and requirements.

In this role you will be responsible for providing support services to the streams within Activity, Funding and Business Intelligence Department and coordinating both the monthly statistical data submissions and routine reporting within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

The Activity, Funding and Business Intelligence Department (AFBI) team provide analytics, funding advice and business intelligence for Cairns and Hinterland Hospital Health Services across acute care, ambulatory services and sub and non-acute patient episodes of care.
