In this role you will bring strong written and verbal communication skills which will enable you to build a solid understanding of the workings of communication that will enable you to build positive relationships with your team members and clients. You will use your organisational and interpersonal skills to provide administrative and communications support in a range of community and engagement activities.

The Communications and Engagement team is small dynamic team that provides communications, engagement and events support to the Chief Executive and business units across the health service.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will…

• Have strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver a high level of communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Have efficient multi-tasking skills and a good ability to consistently priortise tasks.
• Provide administrative support, including multiple inbox and diary management, to the Director and team as well as other tasks as required.
• Work in partnership with other areas of the health service to achieve corporate communication objectives and consistency of messaging.
• Undertake internal communications activities including staff bulletins and producing staff newsletters.

This position may, at a future stage and subject to consultation, be rostered for selected on-call hours, including after hours, weekends and public holidays.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD)evidence as required for your employment in accordance with legislation/government policy and Directives.
