Job summary

Clarence Valley Council is offering a permanent full-time bush regeneration role based in Townsend, NSW. The position is 76 hours per fortnight with a salary of $58,375 to $69,614 plus superannuation per year.

It is located at the Townsend Depot, with a nine-day fortnight and probation on appointment. Applicants from First Nations descent are encouraged to apply in line with NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.

Responsibilities

• Work in the bush regeneration team to restore natural areas in the Clarence Valley.
• Manage weeds using bush regeneration skills across the LG A.
• Involve in tree planting, habitat restoration and weed spraying.
• Collaborate cooperatively with community groups such as Landcare.
