Clarence Valley Council is offering a permanent full-time bush regeneration role based in Townsend, NSW. The position is 76 hours per fortnight with a salary of $58,375 to $69,614 plus superannuation per year.
It is located at the Townsend Depot, with a nine-day fortnight and probation on appointment. Applicants from First Nations descent are encouraged to apply in line with NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.

Are you passionate about working on Country and helping to restore our natural areas in the Clarence?
Council is looking for an enthusiastic person to work in our bush regeneration team.
The management of weeds through utilising bush regeneration skills across the Local Government Area is a challenging and rewarding task. The Clarence Valley contains a broad range of natural landscapes that provide plenty of diversity and variety to keep your work life interesting. In this role you will be involved in tree planting, habitat restoration and weed spraying, while working cooperatively with assisting community groups such as Landcare.

This position is located at Council's Townsend Depot however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to this position.
This position is only available to persons of First Nations descent.
