Job summary

Transdev John Holland Buses in Sydney is hiring a Part-time Bus Refueller to keep our fleet ready for daily service. This 5-hour shift runs 5pm–10pm, Monday to Friday, at Randwick depot, with potential weekend overtime.

You will refuel buses, perform pre-service checks, report vehicle defects, and maintain a clean, safe refuelling area while following WH&S procedures. Suitable for students or those seeking consistent evening work; a NSW C-Class licence is required.

Qualifications

• Valid NSW C‑Class Driver Licence.
• MR or HR Licence preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated maintenance, fleet, transport, automotive or similar operational experience is essential
• Commitment to following safe work practices and procedures.

Your impact

As a Part‑Time Bus Refueller, you will play an essential role in ensuring our fleet is ready to safely serve customers every day.

Working on an afternoon shift roster, you will be responsible for refuelling buses, conducting pre‑service inspections, reporting vehicle defects, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Your contribution will help keep our operations running smoothly and our customers moving. This position is based at our depot at Randwick and may suit a student, semi‑retired person, or someone seeking consistent evening work.

This is a part-time role to work 5 hours per day / 25 hours per week. The hours are 5pm to 10pm Monday to Friday

Please note:

These start and finish times are not negotiable. Additional weekend overtime opportunities may be available.

What you bring

Experience & Qualifications

Valid NSW C‑Class Driver Licence.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Willingness to learn and undertake training related to vehicle movements and depot operations.
