Job summary

Kangaroo Bus Lines in Dayboro, QLD is seeking casual bus drivers to join our depot team. Whether you’re an experienced driver or starting a new career, we provide training and support to help you succeed.

A minimum Medium Rigid (MR) licence is required, and we assist with obtaining a Driver Authorisation (DA) if needed. Join our modern fleet and play a key role in delivering safe, friendly service to passengers across Urban, School and Charter services.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current QLD MR driving licence.
• Current QLD Driver Authority (DA) – Class General or able to obtain.
• Bus driving experience desirable but not essential.
• New drivers welcome to apply.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Drive a modern fleet and deliver excellent passenger service.
• Ensure safety and a friendly, helpful passenger experience.
• Progress opportunities across Urban, School and Charter services.

Skills & Experience

• A current QLD Medium Rigid (MR) driving licence or above
• A current QLD Drivers Authorisation (DA) – Class General, or the ability to obtain one
• Prior bus driving experience is desirable but not essential
• New drivers to the industry are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment functional medical
• Strong communication and customer service skills
