Job summary

Kangaroo Bus Lines is hiring Bus Drivers for the Burpengary Depot to service Translink Urban and School routes and Charter Division opportunities. Roles include full-time and casual positions with training and support provided to help you succeed.

We welcome both experienced drivers and entrants to the industry. A positive, customer-focused attitude is essential as you help passengers reach destinations safely and with a smile.

Qualifications

• Requires a current Queensland Medium Rigid (MR) driving licence (or above).
• Current Queensland Drivers Authorisation (DA) – Class General (or ability to obtain one).
• New drivers to the industry encouraged to apply.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Operate buses safely on urban, school, and charter routes.
• Deliver reliable passenger service with a focus on safety and courtesy.
• Complete pre-employment checks and training as part of onboarding.
• May include weekends and night shifts; participate in ongoing development and training.
