Job summary

ComfortDelGro NSW is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join our Emu Plains depot for night driving. This 21 hours permanent part-time role offers weekend night shifts and the chance to support our reliable public transport service.

You will assist customers, perform pre-departure checks, and ensure safe, comfortable journeys while maintaining knowledge of road laws and company policies. A Heavy Vehicle Licence and driving history are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR or above).
• Must have or be willing to obtain NSW Bus Driver Authority.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Working with Children Check.
• Provide current RMS driving history.
• Availability to work weekend nights.
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional presentation and Australian work status.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service.
• Carry out pre‑departure checks and report mechanical defects.
• Drive safely and ensure passenger safety and comfort.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or practices in the workplace.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of road laws and company policies.
• Collect fares, issue tickets and check passes.
• Complete records such as daily journals and time records.

The Role:

CDC NSW is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join our depot at Emu Plains for night driving. As a Bus Driver, you will assist customers in reaching their destinations and meet their commitments by providing a safe and comfortable journey.This is 21 hours permanent part time position, with opportunity to work weekend nights as part of the working week so availability on weekends is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service
• Carry out pre departure checks and reporting mechanical defects
• Drive effectively and efficiently while ensuring passengers safety and comfort
• Identify, address and report unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices or behavior in the workplace
• Maintain up to date knowledge of road laws and company policies
• The responsibility of collecting correct fares, issuing tickets and checking passes
• Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records

Skills, Attributes and Experience which are essential to succeed in this role:

• Have a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MRand above)
• Have or willing to obtain a NSW Bus Drivers Authority
• Have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
• Provide your current RMS driving history
• Availability to work weekend nights
• Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices
