Job summary

CDC NSW is seeking an experienced Bus Driver for the Emu Plains depot, night shifts, 21 hours per week with weekend night opportunities. You will assist passengers, perform safety checks and ensure timely journeys while maintaining safe, customer-focused service.

The role requires a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR or above), NSW Bus Drivers Authority, and a Working with Children Check, plus a current RMS driving history. Weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above).
• Have or willing to obtain NSW Bus Drivers Authority.
• Have or willing to obtain Working with Children Check.
• Provide your current RMS driving history.
• Availability to work weekend nights.
• Knowledge of Work, Health and Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a prompt and reliable transport service.
• Carry out pre-departure checks and report mechanical defects.
• Drive safely and efficiently with passenger safety and comfort in mind.
• Identify and report unsafe or unhealthy conditions in the workplace.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of road laws and company policies.
• Collect correct fares, issue tickets and check passes.
• Complete daily journals, time records and fuel/charter data.
