Kinetic Group in Cairns region is seeking motivated people to join Moving the Mob as Bus Drivers in Portsmith or Smithfield. The program offers paid training and licence upgrades to help you start a secure, long-term career while staying connected to the community.

You’ll be trained in customer service, ticketing, and driving a range of services including general routes, charters and special events. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• A customer-first attitude and enjoyment in working with the public
• Willingness to obtain a Queensland Driver Authorisation
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and physical assessment
• Australian work rights
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual

About Moving the Mob

Moving the Mob is Kinetic’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander licence upgrade and employment pathway program. The program provides paid training, licence upgrades, mentoring and ongoing support to help mob build a career as professional bus drivers in a culturally safe and inclusive environment.
