Job summary

Kinetic is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Bus Drivers for the Portsmith Depot to join a team in Cairns. This permanent part-time role offers a base rate of $36.23 per hour plus penalties where applicable, with training provided and a 7-day roster across the local Cairns region.

Applicants must hold a MR license (or higher), be willing to obtain QLD Driver Authorisation (DA), and pass a pre-employment medical examination. Australian work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and enjoy working with the public.
• Current MR (Medium Rigid) driving license or above.
• Willing and able to obtain a QLD Driver Authorisation (DA).
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
• Australian Work Rights.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses with a strong focus on passenger safety.
• Deliver reliable and courteous customer service to passengers.
• Support ticket sales and a range of bus services as required.
• Roster operates across 7 days in the Cairns region.

• Rate: $36.23 base rate, plus penalties where applicable.


• Location: Portsmith, Cairns


• Training:You will be trained to achieve high standards in all parts of your work including safe driving practices.


• Roster: We operate across 7 days throughout the local Cairns region

With a strong focus on customer service and providing a safe journey for our passengers, our bus drivers are fully trained to play a vital part in all facets of customer service, ticket sales and a range of bus services.
