Job summary

Kinetic Group is seeking a casual School Bus Driver for our Portsmith Depot in Cairns. Earn $45.29 per hour with 20–25 hours per week across split shifts. Training provided to achieve high safety and service standards, with a focus on excellent customer service and safe journeys for students.

Applicants should hold a MR license (or higher), be willing to obtain DA, and meet pre-employment medical checks; Australian work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public.
• A current MR driving license (or above).
• Willing to obtain a QLD Driver Authorisation (DA).
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
• Australian Work Rights required.

Responsibilities

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Drivers to join our team at our Portsmith Depot - enjoy a rewarding role with great work-life balance and earn $45.29 per hour.

This role offers approximately 20-25 hours per week across split shifts.

• Position: Casual - School Bus Driver
• Rate: $45.29 per hour (casual rate), plus penalties where applicable.
• Location: Portsmith, Cairns
• Training: You will be trained to achieve high standards in all parts of your work including safe driving practices.
• Roster: We operate across 7 days throughout the local Townsville region and we are looking for our newest team member to have availability Monday - Friday (Split Shift) 20-25hrs per week with School Holidays Off.

With a strong focus on customer service and providing a safe journey for our passengers, our bus drivers are fully trained to play a vital part in all facets of customer service, ticket sales and a range of bus services.
