Job summary

Kinetic Group in Murwillumbah, NSW, is seeking Casual Relief Drivers to join Australasia’s largest bus operator. If you’ve driven buses or heavy vehicles, bring your smile, energy and commitment to delivering great customer experiences.

You’ll be enrolled in a 12-month training program to achieve the Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus, with a strong focus on safe driving, customer service, and tickets. NSW Driving Authorisation and MR licence are required.

Qualifications

• We require excellent customer service and the ability to engage with the public.
• MR Driver's Licence is mandatory for all applicants.
• Australian Work Rights are required for this role.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to obtain NSW Driving Authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses and related heavy vehicles.
• Provide safe and courteous customer service to passengers.
• Support ticket sales and a range of bus services including routes, charters and events.

The Opportunity

• Casual Relief Driver
• Great pay rates from $43.80 (base) per hour
• Working out of our Murwillumbah Depot

You will be trained to achieve high standards in all parts of your work including safe driving practices. A 12-month training program to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus)

With a strong focus on customer service and providing a safe journey for our passengers, our bus drivers are fully trained to play a vital part in all facets of customer service, ticket sales and a range of bus services including general routes, charters and special events driving.

We are people with a customer first attitude, and therefore are looking for people with:

• Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public
• A minimum of an MR Driver's License
• Willingness to obtain a NSW Driving Authorisation.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment physical examination and medical history check
• Australian Work Rights
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual
