Job summary

ComfortDelGro Corporation (CDC) seeks an Operations Supervisor at the Katoomba Bus Depot to manage shift rosters, driver allocation and depot operations. You will help ensure on-time performance, safety compliance and efficient use of resources across the bus fleet.

The role requires strong communication, calm problem-solving and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends. Experience with fleet operations and CCTV systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to think logically and stay calm under changing priorities.
• Willing to work a varied shift pattern including alternate weekends.
• Comfortable dealing with people from diverse cultures.
• Proficient with computers and quick to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust shift rosters, ensuring drivers and buses are allocated before shifts start.
• Ensure services meet contractual KPIs and maintain accurate records (fuel, payroll, yard operations).
• Allocate vehicles and drivers for rail replacement and charter bookings; update systems for absences or incidents.
• Investigate incidents by reviewing CCTV and other data; update AX and save footage as required.
• Maintain CCTV security and records; coordinate with Depot/Service Delivery Manager to share best practices.
• Complete shift reports and ensure overtime is optimized; assist with lost property inquiries.
