Job summary

CDC Central Queensland Pty Ltd is seeking a Bus Cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our bus fleet serving Kawana and Rockhampton. Roles are available as full-time, part-time, or casual and may be based at Kawana or Rockhampton depots.

You will clean interiors and exteriors, replenish supplies, and report maintenance issues while ensuring vehicles are always ready for service and compliant with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning or customer service role.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform physical labour tasks.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• A valid driver's licence and ability to obtain a Queensland driver authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleaning the interior and exterior of buses, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting all surfaces.
• Replenishing consumables such as hand sanitiser, tissues, and other supplies.
• Reporting maintenance or repair issues to the relevant team.
• Ensuring all buses are presentable and ready for service.
• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

As a Bus Cleaner at CDC Central Queensland Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our fleet of buses servicing the Kawana QLD area. This role plays an important part in keeping our public transport services running smoothly and delivering a comfortable experience for our passengers. Opportunities are available on a full-time, part-time or casual basis and may be based at either our Kawana or Rockhampton depots.
