Job summary

RCR Mining Technologies is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Bunbury Finance team at the Bunbury Head Office. You will partner with operational leaders to deliver accurate financial reporting, robust analysis, and actionable insights that drive profitability and performance across manufacturing, parts sales, and field services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification or currently working towards completion.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in management accounting, commercial finance, financial analysis, or finance business partnering roles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to deliver financial reporting, analysis, insights, and recommendations that support informed business decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and performance review processes across assigned portfolios.
• Identify profitability drivers, business risks, and opportunities to improve financial and operational performance.
• Provide financial and commercial support for strategic decision-making, including financial modelling, business case development, scenario analysis, tenders, pricing reviews, and contract management activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial controls, and governance requirements while balancing operational and commercial needs.
• Communicate accounting requirements and financial impacts to operational stakeholders in a clear and practical manner.
• Support audit activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial investigations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting, and controls.
• Provide leadership and development support to the Cost Controller.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and other activities as required to support business objectives.
