Job summary

Core Talent is seeking an experienced Building Manager for a hands-on, single-site role in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. You will manage a 90‑lot residential site, oversee contractors and maintenance, and develop strong relationships with residents and Owners Corporation.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in building management, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to compliance and safety. This is a long‑term, ownership‑driven opportunity in a busy, established building.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years’ experience as a Building Manager.
• Residential building management experience.
• Confident managing contractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of a busy site.
• Professional presentation and a proactive approach.
• Strong understanding of building operations, maintenance and compliance.
• Strata/BMC experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage a single residential site of approximately 90 lots.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the building.
• Manage contractors, maintenance and site operations.
• Build strong relationships with residents, owners and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance and building services.
• Assist with compliance, safety and essential services requirements.
• Work closely with strata management and the Owners Corporation.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues across the building.

Salary: $100,000 + Super
Location: Sydney - Eastern Suburbs

We are currently seeking an experienced Building Manager to join a well-established property and strata management organisation, managing a busy residential building in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Manager who enjoys being hands-on, taking ownership of their building and working closely with residents, the Owners Corporation, strata management and contractors.

The organisation has a strong presence across the property and strata sector, with established systems, professional support and a large portfolio of residential communities.

The Role:

• Manage a single residential site of approximately 90 lots
• Single Strata Plan
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the building
• Manage contractors, maintenance and site operations
• Build strong relationships with residents, owners and key stakeholders
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance and building services
• Assist with compliance, safety and essential services requirements
• Work closely with strata management and the Owners Corporation
• Proactively identify and resolve issues across the building
