Job summary

Vassallo Constructions is a family-owned building company in Central Queensland, seeking experienced Labourers to join the Mackay-based building team. This hands-on role requires reliability, a white card, a current driver's licence, and the ability to work safely and as part of a team to keep projects progressing.

Positions are Mackay-based with home every night, offering long-term employment as the building division grows.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Building Labourer is highly regarded.
• Current Construction Industry White Card.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Confidence using basic hand and power tools.
• The physical capability to undertake hands-on labouring duties.
• Ability to follow instructions and work productively as part of a team.
• Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as required.
• Reliable, practical and hardworking approach.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on roles suited to getting involved in all aspects of the job to keep projects progressing.
• Assist wherever required and follow directions from supervisors.
• Work alongside experienced Carpenters and building professionals.
• Be prepared for a variety of tasks as the building division grows.
• Based in Mackay with home every night.

Vassallo Constructions is a family-focused, locally owned construction business that has been operating and growing successfully in Central Queensland since 1997.

As we continue to expand our building operations, we are seeking experienced and reliable Labourers to join our Mackay-based building team.

BUILDING LABOURERS

These are hands-on roles suited to people who are prepared to get involved in all aspects of the job, take direction and assist wherever required to keep projects progressing.

About the Role

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience working as a Building Labourer (highly regarded)

Current Construction Industry White Card

Current Australian Driver's Licence

Confidence using basic hand and power tools

The physical capability to undertake hands-on labouring duties

The ability to follow instructions and work productively as part of a team

A willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as required

A reliable, practical and hardworking approach

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
