Job summary

Scope Home Access is seeking a skilled Builder or Carpenter to modify homes so older Australians and people with disability can live safely at home. You’ll hold a Certificate III in Carpentry and deliver high-quality work across varied on-site projects from access modifications to bathroom updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry and building tasks on residential modifications.
• Adapt to varied on-site requirements (grab rails, handrails, ramps, bathrooms).
• Ensure quality workmanship and safety on site.
• Communicate with clients and team throughout projects.
• Contribute to project progress and client satisfaction.

Are you an experienced Builder or Carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants your work to genuinely make a difference?

At Scope Home Access, we modify homes so older Australians and people living with disability can live safely and independently at home.

The work

No two days are the same.

Our projects range from smaller modifications such as grab rails, handrails and door widening through to:

Full bathroom renovations

Ramps and stairs

Decks and access modifications

Lift related construction works

Other residential home modifications

Who we're looking for

You will be someone who:

Holds a Certificate III in Carpentry

Produces high quality work

Can work independently and solve problems on site

Communicates well with clients and colleagues

Is reliable, organised and professional

Takes pride in working respectfully in people's homes

Home modification or aged care experience is an advantage, but not essential.
