Job summary

Scope Home Access is seeking experienced Builders or Carpenters to modify homes for safer, more independent living for older Australians and those with disabilities. You will work autonomously on diverse projects with a professional team, delivering high-quality workmanship and on-site problem solving.

This permanent full-time role includes a fully equipped work vehicle, monthly RDO, 20 days annual leave, extra Christmas leave, and 12% superannuation, with potential to progress into supervisory

Qualifications

• Holds a Certificate III in Carpentry.
• Produces high quality work.
• Can work independently and solve problems on site.
• Communicates well with clients and colleagues.
• Is reliable, organised and professional.
• Takes pride in working respectfully in people’s homes.
• Home modification or aged care experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Modify homes with grab rails, handrails and door widening.
• Complete full bathroom renovations and ramps/stairs.
• Construct decks and access modifications.
• Do lift-related construction works.
• Handle other residential home modifications.
