Job summary

The Enquire Learning Trust's Broughton Primary Academy is seeking a reliable School Cleaner to join a friendly team. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Working 25 hours per week across early mornings and late afternoons, term time plus 20 days. Full induction and training, access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, and a supportive team are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Works well in a team and maintains high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Desirable cleaning experience; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting designated areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables.
• Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
• Ensuring cleaning duties align with procedures and safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting designated areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
• Ensuring cleaning duties are carried out in line with school procedures and health and safety regulations.
