Job summary

The Enquire Learning Trust is seeking a part-time kitchen assistant for a busy primary school kitchen. The role involves food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards in line with school policies.

You will work as part of a supportive team, with a flexible, can-do approach and professional appearance at all times. We offer a pension scheme, development opportunities, and employee support programs.

• Experience in food preparation and production in a school or care environment.

We are looking for someone to join our busy kitchen team, within our three-form entry primary school. We pride ourselves on our positive ethos and nurturing environment.

Duties will include:

• Food preparation and production
• Cleaning of kitchen and food service areas, including equipment
• Maintaining the general tidiness and organisation of food service areas, “Clean as you go policy”
• Observing and enforcing all food hygiene policies, procedures and documentation.
• Any other duties or tasks as required by the service, Cook or Business Manager

Working as part of a Team:
