Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.
• Knowledge of family-centred and strengths-based early intervention approaches.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel across the Kimberley region.]
• The Occupational Therapist will engage in assessments and interventions that support self-care, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and social skills, while also empowering parents and caregivers with practical strategies to facilitate development at home.

Aufgaben

• Conduct evidence-based assessments within a multidisciplinary and family-centred framework.
• Implement occupational therapy services to assist families accessing the RECS Program.
• Advocate for and coordinate with community-based services to enhance support for Aboriginal families.
• Develop strategies to improve access to childhood development services for Aboriginal communities.
• Support Family Support Workers in delivering the RECS Program and provide training on occupational therapy services.
