Job summary

Lanson Partners is seeking a governance-focused professional to oversee risk, governance and distribution within a leading financial services environment. You will monitor third-party distribution channels, conduct assurance reviews and drive improvements across broker and aggregator networks.

The role emphasises data-driven risk assessment, stakeholder collaboration and the development of governance frameworks to strengthen risk culture and oversight across a broad distribution network.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' experience in Risk, Compliance, Operational Risk, Assurance or Governance within Financial Services
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations and risk management principles
• Proven ability to analyse complex issues and deliver practical solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Exposure to broker, aggregator or third-party risk management

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review third-party distribution partners through a risk-based governance framework
• Conduct assurance reviews and thematic assessments across broker and aggregator networks
• Lead investigations, deep-dives and improvement initiatives to address emerging risks
• Develop and enhance policies, frameworks and procedures
• Prepare management reporting and present insights to senior stakeholders
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive strong governance outcomes and risk culture
