Wood is seeking experienced SMP Supervisors for the 2026 Ampol Turnaround at the Brisbane-based Lytton site, with availability to start in May. Successful candidates will provide leadership, safely execute shutdown activities and report to T&I Leads and Superintendents.

Applicants should be Australian citizens or hold the required permit/visa for the region. We offer return flights, accommodation, car hire and LAHA where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in Energy/Resources/Industrial industries.
• Oil refinery experience highly regarded.
• Strong people leadership and conflict management.
• Knowledge of HSE behaviours, systems and procedures.
• Ability to read P&IDs, technical drawings and maintenance manuals.

Responsabilités

• Lead and safely execute planned shutdown activities.
• Deliver project/shutdown scope per approved schedule.
• Lead team members toward best-practice delivery of tasks.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and work practices.
• Participate in estimating shutdown activities.
• Develop schedules and work packs to meet safety and quality standards and on time.
• Accountable for delivery of project/shutdown scope as per schedule.
