Job summary

Best International is seeking an experienced POS Hardware Technician to service and repair POS systems for major retail clients across Brisbane and North Brisbane area. You will be in the field, traveling to customer sites and resolving hardware issues.

The role is a 6-month contract with a high likelihood of extension. Shifts are Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, with potential after-hours and weekend work as required. A vehicle and valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in field service and hardware repair is required.
POS installation/repair/maintenance experience preferred.
Experience servicing touch screens, printers, cash drawers, EFTPOS devices is advantageous.
Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills.
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license are essential.
Ability to rotate working hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain POS hardware at retail outlets across Brisbane and North Brisbane.
Travel to customer sites for on-site servicing.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform repairs to component level where needed.
Coordinate with team to cover after-hours or weekend requirements when necessary.
