Job summary

JamesVale Recruitment Pty. is seeking an Operations Manager in Brisbane, QLD, to lead daily operations, optimise resources and drive profitable service delivery for a growing client base.

You will report to the Managing Director and play a key role in achieving strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Business Management (desirable) and a proven track record in executive leadership within a construction-related context.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business Management or similar (desirable)
• Demonstrated experience in successfully leading a team through transformation
• Proven experience as an effective member of a management team
• Strong business and commercial acumen, as well as strong strategic financial management skills
• Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to resolve conflict and manage negotiation within the construction industry and other stakeholders
• Extensive experience identifying and analysing complex, sensitive and strategic issues
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with staff, customers and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage daily business operations to ensure efficient and profitable service delivery
• Monitor resources (people and equipment) and drive performance, productivity, and profitability
• Coordinate administration, production and sales to meet client needs and deliver high-quality work
