Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Operations Manager for a high-profile mixed-use portfolio in Brisbane. You will oversee day-to-day onsite operations, ensure safety and compliance, manage budgets, and drive efficiency across a retail centre, an office tower, and a parking facility.

You will lead capital works, coordinate vendor activity, and partner with the client and internal teams to deliver sustainable, economical outcomes while maintaining exceptional service levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shopping centre operations or facilities management within a mixed-use portfolio.
• Strong budgeting, financial reporting and cost-control skills with a proactive approach to savings.
• Exceptional communication skills and a client-service mindset, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite operations management procedures, processes, and performance measures for building management and essential services.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with fire, health, safety, and WH&S regulations including Building Code of Australia.
• Maintain property risk management programs and audits across all assets to identify and mitigate risks.
• Manage and optimize the centre’s operations budgets to meet or exceed targets and drive operational savings.
• Ensure vendor procurement processes align with client guidelines and JLL best practices.
• Induct staff and contractors with up-to-date, site-specific training.
• Execute the client’s capital works program to meet KPIs and sustainability requirements.
• Collaborate with the onsite Facilities Manager and Property Management team to empower the site team.
